LETS SAVE EDUCATION in NEW JERZ..and everywhere we can impact

I recently received this from my good homie Diana(via facebook) and i felt this info needed 2 be shared. FUCK CHRISTIE?! OR FUCKZ WIT EM(krazy if u do)?
--------------------------

As many have heard, the new governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie has recently made mass cuts in state education. In fact, he has already cut 475 million dollars from the budget, and plans to cut more...the cuts will total just about 1 Billion dollars. Many After-school programs are going to cease to exist from now on. That means sports teams, clubs, arts and musics programs are going to no longer exist in NJ Schools.

In addition, he has gone on a firing rampage and is going to fire mass amounts of non-tenured teachers in the state. Further more, he plans on re-negotiating the contracts on teachers who are. That puts their health care, benefits, and pensions in serious danger. The state will soon have less teachers, and less money--to the point where some schools are saying they are going to need to have children share books.

Chris Christie also wants to completely eliminate the institution of pre-school in the state and have the entry level for children be kindergarten. This is going to complicate many parents lives and stifle and delay the development of many children.

The saddest part is that in only a few weeks a lot of these cuts have ALREADY gone into effect, and soon even more will go into place, and then even more by next school year.

This is one of the most serious things to ever happen in the state of New Jersey. At this point, the only potential for change lies in the students. The youth who will be effected by all these cuts need to rise up and do something. Therefore, I am suggesting that the students of New Jersey need to participate in a MASS STATE WIDE SCHOOL WALK OUT. On April 27th, I urge all of you to walk out, bring signs, and protest in front of your school, on the school track, ANYTHING. It is imperative to YOUR EDUCATION for something to be done. Something that will draw mass attention to this issue and get this sick man who some how got into office, to change something. I don't know what this man has against education, but i do know that the students who will be effected by this should not take it lying down. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU KNOW. FORWARD IT TO EVERYONE! STEP UP WITHIN YOUR OWN SCHOOL AND HELP ORGANIZE THIS EVENT. Inform teachers, they will not argue it, because this is affecting them too. Most of your teachers, will actually not be returning next year because of all these cuts. So for their sake, and yours DO SOMETHING
